As well as safaris, Ku Tunza is dedicated to bringing visitors into Uganda to assist in the work of British Registered Charity, Soft Power Education.
- We put the adventure into their mission statement of –
‘Education thru Friendship thru Adventure’
Catering for every volunteer’s budget and skills, we complement Soft Powers Education's work in Primary schools to ensure that each person has the travel experience of a lifetime.
Having built two pre-schools for Aids orphans there is now a change in the air. Soft Power Education is refurbishing, up to Government standard, the 20 Government primary schools within the sub-county of Budondo. A medical clinic and pottery have also been built and an Education Centre is under construction.
Time (from one day to 2 months) can be spent volunteering on one of Soft Power Education’s projects before you head off on a Ku Tunza tour, or upon your return.

Trip Add On You may wish to spend longer volunteering on one of Soft Power Education’s school projects. If this is the case, we advise you allow ample time at the start of your Kutunza trip or alternatively you may wish to extend your departure date, ensuring you have given yourself enough time to make the most of your community experience.
